TRUJILLO

Trujillo is the capital city of La Libertad Region. This was the site of two important civilizations: the Moches and Chimus. Around the area are located the Huacas del Sol and La Luna and Chan Chan.

CHICLAYO

Chiclayo is the main city in Lambayeque region. It is called the “Capital of Friendship”. In this territory the peruvian archaeologist Walter Alva discovered the royal tomb of the Lord of Sipan in 1987.

CHACHAPOYAS

Chachapoyas is the capital of the Amazonas region. Around the city you can find important magical sites such as: the fortress of Kuelap, the mausoleums of Revash, the waterfalls of Gocta, the mummies of Leymebamba.

CAJAMARCA

Cajamarca is the name of the city and as well the name of the civilization conquered by the Incas. On November 16, 1532, the conquistador Francisco Pizarro seized a powerful lord of the Incas named Atahualpa.
